Lani Aames was born and raised in west Tennessee. She resides there with her husband, two daughters, and eight cats. She is the author of At the Stroke of Midnight and—writing as Lani Aames—Desperate Hearts, Gillian's Island, Moonstoned, Valiant, and many other manuscripts, both completed and in progress. She is also presently working on her next novel, Immortal Conquest, a mythological romance.
